William W. ‘Bill’ Page, 84, of the Savannah Lakes Village in McCormick, SC, husband of Katherine Therwanger Page, passed away, Tuesday, December 23, 2025. He was born in Alexandria, VA to the late Woodrow Wilson and Mary Lee Jones Page.
A graduate of Highpoint High School in Beltsville, MD, Bill was deeply committed to service in his community. He was a volunteer fireman in his youth and young adulthood and he honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. After returning from service, Bill embarked on a successful career as a retired operating engineer for heavy equipment with over 60 years of dedicated service. He was a true jack of all trades and, arguably, a master of many.
Bill was an exceptional craftsman and earned the title of Master Gardener, reflecting both his desire for the beauty in nature and his knack for creating lasting works of art. Fishing and kayaking were passions that brought him great joy, cherishing the tranquility of nature and the thrill of outdoor adventures.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife if 58 years, Katherine, of the home and three loving children, Tammy Page Parnell, Andrew William Page and Katie Page Norman. He was also blessed with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren in his wonderful life with us.
All services will be private.
