Tommy C. "Peewee" Price
February 1, 1961 — April 25, 2020
Thomas ‘Tommy’ (PeeWee) Charles Price, 59, of Greenwood died Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont. He was born in Lancaster, SC to Geraldine Belk Smith and the late Osborne Barnett Price.
Tommy attended Lancaster schools. A talented craftsman, he was employed in the construction industry for many years. Tommy enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found fishing, riding four-wheelers and shooting his guns. He was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered as a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his father, Tommy was preceded in death by a brother, James Barnett Price; a sister, Donna Faye Moseley; a brother-in-law, Jack Shurley; and a nephew, Ramon Julian Salazar, III.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Burnett (Todd) of Greenwood; his mother, Geraldine, of Monroe, NC; his siblings, Leo Price (Robin), Toby Price (Virginia), Loriann Price Todd and Tammy Salazar, all of Lancaster; his wife, Freda Shurley Price of Greenwood; a step-son, Gary ‘Bill’ Brown (Melissa) of Rock Hill; a step-daughter, Melissa Hinson (Lee) of Rock Hill; five grandchildren, Tyler, Lane, Thomas, Kendall and Blake; niece, Hannah Price; and a wide circle of extended family and friends including many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Tommy’s life will be announced at a later date.
