Thomas "Buddy" Ray Garrett

Thomas Ray "Buddy" Garrett, 66, resident of Greenville, SC passed away Sunday Jan. 21, 2018.

Born in Abbeville, SC he was a son of the late James Eugene Garrett and Nancy Argo Garrett.

Buddy had a degree as a culinary chef. He was formerly employed as a counselor at Turning Point Home for Men. He was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his son Thomas "Chip" Garrett; three sisters Nancy G. Erwin (Mike) of Abbeville, SC, Kathy Scoggins (Joe) of Abbeville, SC and Eleanor Garrett of Central, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Buddy's life will be conducted Wednesday Jan. 24, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Brain Arant officiating.

The family will receive friends after services at the funeral home.

Memorials in memory of Buddy may be made to Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home to help defer funeral cost, 208 S. Main St. Abbeville, SC 29620.

The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the Garrett family.
