Sybil "Fleming" Woodall

Sybil Fleming Woodall, 75, of Clemson, formerly of Abbeville, wife of the late Aubrey James Woodall, died Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at National Health Care in Anderson. She was born in Abbeville County to the late Victor Keith Fleming and Dora Beauford Fleming.

Mrs. Woodall earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Lander College, class of 1979, and a Master’s Degree from Clemson University. For 18 years, she was employed as an elementary teacher with the Abbeville County School District, first at Antreville and later at Diamond Hill. Mrs. Woodall was a member of Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church, Circle II, and the choir. She had also served as an Elder. Mrs. Woodall was associated with the former Abbeville Pilot Club.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Wally, Bruce, Gary, Alice and Judy.

Mrs. Woodall is survived by her two children, Tracy Bolger and her husband, Tommy, of Clemson and Jeff Woodall and his wife, Laura, of Spartanburg; five grandchildren, Jordan Reynolds (Will), Dylan, Olivia, Liam and Micah; and a brother, Keith Fleming of Port Townsend, WA.

The family will receive friends 2:00PM – 3:00PM, Friday, January 4, 2019 in the Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church fellowship hall. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM in the church sanctuary with the Rev. Wayne Wicker and Rev. Lee P. Kennerly officiating. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery.

The family are at their respective homes.
