Shirley Jean Kriegh Taylor, 83, wife of the late George Walter Taylor, of Minneapolis, Kansas, died Friday, December 14, 2018 at NHC in Anderson. She was born in Minneapolis to the late Roy Melvin Kriegh and Leola Pearce Kriegh.
Mrs. Taylor was an employee of the Kansas Public School System as a bus driver. She was an enthusiastic camper having traveled over much of the United States. Her creativity was easily seen in the photo albums she produced. Perhaps closest to her heart, were the times spent babysitting her grandchildren. Of the Presbyterian faith, Mrs. Taylor was often involved as a Vacation Bible School teacher.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Kriegh, Jr.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughter, Kim Taylor (Wayne Gens), of Abbeville; two sons, Mitch Taylor (Brenda) and Shawn Taylor, all of Kansas; six grandchildren, Morgan, Melissa, Delaney, Jadon, Jacob and Caleb Taylor; and a great-granddaughter, Amia Taylor.
Graveside services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in the MJ ‘Dolly’ Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson with the Rev. Brian Arant officiating.
