Shelly Scott, 49, of Calhoun Falls, died Friday, January 1, 2021 at Self Regional Healthcare. She was born in Abbeville to the late Harold Davis and Bonnie Shiflet Brewer.
A 1989 graduate of Abbeville High School, Shelly also graduated from Piedmont Technical College in 1991. She was previously employed as a computer programmer with Greenwood Mop and Broom. Shelly was happiest when with family and time spent together always brought her much joy.
She is survived by her children, Matthew Scott and Ryleigh Grace Shaw, both of Calhoun Falls; a brother, Tim Brown (Dawn) of Abbeville; three sisters, Susan Mundy (Hugh), Neada Collins (Gary), and Cheryl Ashley (Trigger Holley), all of Abbeville; and her dog and loyal companion, Oscar.
A service to celebrate Shelly’s life will be 11:00AM, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in the Harris Funeral Home Chapel in Abbeville, 302 N. Main St. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Masks are encouraged for all attending.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials, in memory of Shelly, are sent to the Shelly Scott Fund, c/o Harris Funeral Home, PO Box 549, Abbeville, SC 29620.
