Ruby Young "Young" Wiles

December 14, 1926 — April 4, 2018

Ruby Young Wiles, a devoted Christian and Believer in: God, The Father; God, The Son; and God, The Holy Spirit, entered into her heavenly home on April 4, 2018. Remaining to cherish her love and memories are her husband of 69 years, Ernest Hoyt Wiles; her son, Stanley Wiles (Doris); her daughter, Kaye Minarovich; ten grandchildren, Joey Stubblefield (Hayley), Stacey Fowler (John), Justin Wiles (JoAnna), Crystal Wiles (Matt), Adam Minarovich (Cathy), Sabrina Minarovich, John Minarovich, Jeanne Skartsiarus (Terry), Patrick Minarovich and Julie Dee (Michael); twenty-one great-grandchildren, Bella, Jayden, Jesse, Jenna, Joseph, Rylan, Jecht, Tillie Rae, Drew, Aiden, Mataley, Carrigon, Gavin, Ryan, Rachel, Alexandra, Brandon, Hannah, Lauren, Nicole and Mary.

Born December 14, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Alma Lettie Young. Mrs. Wiles was the last remaining member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul, Harrison and Hubert Young; sisters, Annie Mae White, Sara Burton and Olga Campbell; and her son-in-law, John Minarovich.

Ruby was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a powerful prayer warrior for her family and many others and a Sunday School teacher for a number of years. Mrs. Wiles will be deeply missed, but leaves us with the love, trust and understanding of John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life” and Deuteronomy 31:6-8 – “God will never leave us nor forsake us. We shall remain with knowledge and understanding of these things and love in our hearts until we are reunited in the kingdom of Heaven.”

Graveside services will be 10:00AM Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the Iva City Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Wiles officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Joey Stubblefield, Adam Minarovich, John Fowler, Jayden Fowler, Justin Wiles and Joseph Wiles.  The family will receive friends following the service.
