Roy Reese

Roy Reese, 91, of McCormick, beloved husband of Frankie Krech Reese, peacefully passed away on May 2, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Mitchell, GA to the late Claude and Mary Coleman Reese.

Mr. Reese was a proud graduate of Gibson High School and honorably served in the U.S. Navy. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to the Medical College of Georgia before retiring. He found joy in woodworking, fishing, and the beauty of the outdoors.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Frankie, of 48 years, four children - Vicki Fair, Sherri Charek, Kristi Powers, Randy Powers (Beth); sister, Claire; two nieces, Linda and Sheila; as well, as thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Bellevue Memorial Gardens in Grovetown, GA.
