Rose Ann Rosser

Rose Ann Rosser, 66, of Donalds, died Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at her home.  She was born in Abbeville to the late Samuel Sharpe and Ruby Pressley Sharpe.

Rose Ann graduated from Dixie High School, Class of 1975.  She worked faithfully at Due West Oil Mill retiring after many years of dedicated service.  Following retirement, she became a caregiver at The Renaissance, where she selflessly helped others in need.  Rose Ann had a deep appreciation for nature’s beauty.  Birds and flowers held a special place in her heart.  She found great joy in watching the birds, especially red birds and tending her flowers.  Rose Ann was a lifelong member of Gilgal United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Sammy Rosser (Kason) of Abbeville; two sisters, Marilyn Crawford and Elaine Richey (Louie), all of Donalds; two grandchildren, Hunter and Chase Rosser; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 3:00PM, Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Gilgal United Methodist Church with Rev. Jason Taylor officiating.  The family will visit with relatives and friends following the service.  A private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
