Robert F. Scott

Robert F. Scott, 61, of Abbeville, beloved husband of Nancy Elliott Scott, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Abbeville Area Medical Center. Born in Abbeville County and raised by Dennis and Kathy Page Scott, Robert's life was marked by dedication and love.

A proud graduate of Abbeville High School, Class of 1984, Robert honorably served in the United States Navy. He was employed with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) for 13 years until he was no longer able to work. In his leisure time, Robert found joy in fishing and cutting wood and was a member of the Lowndesville Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He was preceded in death by his biological parents, Robert and Ruth Morrow.

Robert's memory will be cherished by his wife of 22 years, Nancy; his parents, Dennis & Kathy Scott; his brothers, Jackey Scott and Keith Barnes; his sisters, LaDonna Bowman, Virginia Morrow, and Michelle Turner; as well as his brothers-in-law, Doug Elliott (Martika) and Keith Elliott (Erica). He is also remembered fondly by special friends, Lamar West and David Lawrence, along with his cherished dog, Lil Bit.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday beginning at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Scotty Willoughby and Rev. Frank Page officiating.
