Robert Franklin Beasley

Robert Franklin Beasley, 57, of Iva, formerly of Abbeville County, died Friday, August 23, 2019 at AnMed Health. He was born in Greenwood to Doris Beasley Driver and the late Howard Franklin Beasley.

Robert attended Dixie High School. A mechanic by trade, he enjoyed the outdoors and fishing when his health allowed. Spending time with family was a treasured pastime. Robert was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his two sons, Robert ‘Robbie’ Beasley of Donalds and Jamie Beasley (Sydne) of Anderson; his mother, Doris, of Honea Path; a granddaughter, Hilaree; two brothers, James Beasley (Sue) of Abbeville and David Beasley (Angela) of Honea Path; three sisters, Frankie Mundy (Bob) and Terri Timmerman (Buddy) all of Abbeville and Jane Craine (Robert) of Honea Path; and a wide circle of extended family and friends.

A service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held 4:00PM, Monday, August 26, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home, Abbeville Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
