Richard L. ‘Rick’ Wilson, 79, of Ninety Six, husband of Audrey Devore Wilson, died Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at his home. He was born in Abbeville to the late Buck and Vera Howard Wilson.
A graduate of Abbeville High School, Class of 1964, Rick was employed with Moore Business Forms, Inc. for over 30 years before retiring from Covidien in Greenwood. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves.
Rick was a lifetime member of the Hejaz Shriners and was widely known for his dedication, service and faithful commitment to the brotherhood of Freemasonry. He served as Worshipful Master and later, Past Master, of Matthews, Lodge No. 358 where he was a member for more than 40 years. He was also a member of the Ancient Free Masons of South Carolina and a Sir Knight of Richard L. Wilson Commandery No. 5, Knights Templar of South Carolina.
In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Wilson Bogan; grandson, Nathan Senterfit; and siblings, Dale Wilson and his wife, Patricia, Jimmy W. Wilson and Grace Wilson Gambrell.
Rick is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Audrey; daughter, Vickie Senterfit-Bis (Robert); step-daughter, Wendy Haynie (Mike); brother, Dennis Wilson (Elise); sister, Brenda Graham; five grandchildren, Matthew Bogan (Natalie), Brandon Senterfit, David Senterfit, Brooke Hanko (Deric) and Erik Haynie; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 1:00PM – 2:00PM, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home, 302 N. Main Street, Abbeville, SC. Funeral services with Military Honors and Masonic Rites will begin at 2:30PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tim Dorsey officiating. A private burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be sent to the Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646.
The family is at the home in Ninety Six, SC.
