Richard Ross Haldeman

Richard Ross Haldeman, 46, resident of 221 South Main St., Due West, SC, son of Richard H. And Janice H. Haldeman of Due West, died Wednesday, June 16, at Anderson Medical Center.

Born Dec. 9, 1963 in Greenwood, SC, Ross was a graduate of Piedmont Technical College and worked at the Recovery Center in Greenwood and Exxon and Wal-Mart stores in Atlanta, Georgia.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include two sisters, Robin H. Talbot of Beverly, MA, and Nancy H. Cochran of Powell, TN; brothers-in-law Dr. Robert Talbot and Dr. Jeffery Cochran; and nephews, William Talbot and Erzhan Cochran.

Ross was active in the Knight Hawks's internet spades club and South Carolina recovery groups, and treasured his many friends in these organizations and among Erskine College alumni and members of the Due West Community.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 22, at 4:00 PM in Trinity Episcopal Church, Abbeville, with Rev. Rilla Holmes officiating.
