Ray Baughman

Ray Baughman, 75, of Abbeville, died Saturday, February 3, 2024, at NHC in Greenwood.  He was born in Abbeville to the late Jack Baughman and Frances Link Baughman.

A graduate of Abbeville High School, Class of 1966, Ray graduated from Anderson College in 1968.  He retired from the textile industry after many years of dedicated service.  Ray had a passion for golf. His love for the game brought him immense joy and allowed him to connect with others who shared the same enthusiasm.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lynne Baughman.

Ray is survived by two brothers, G. Frank Baughman (Dale) of Anderson and John Baughman (Darrelyn) of Abbeville; and a sister, Jane Baughman Gable of Abbeville.

A celebration of Ray’s life will be 2:00PM, Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Warrenton Presbyterian Church.
