Patricia 'Patsy' Rosenberg Riley

Patricia "Patsy" Rosenberg Riley, 79, of Abbeville, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Abbeville Area Medical Center. Born in Wilmington, NC, she was the beloved daughter of the late Dr. George V. Rosenberg and Edith Cochran Rosenberg.

Patsy was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with her family. Her interests included painting and sculpting, as well as swimming, golfing, and playing tennis. She enjoyed gardening and found comfort in reading her Bible, often accompanied by a cup of coffee.

Her warmth, creativity, and dedication to her loved ones will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ken Holbert and Chad Barber; and a brother, Herby Rosenberg.

Patsy is survived by her husband Milburn Riley of Anderson; her children, Lucy Wilson (Grier), Lance Riley and Lee Riley and their families; seven grandchildren, Justin Bratcher (Katie Jo), Drayton Wilson (Jessica), Carson McFarland, Alicia Ann Holbert, Sol Holbert, Jackie Coxe Martin and Duece Coxe; five great-grandchildren, Waylon, Elena, Lynleigh Wilson, Carter Harris and Lane Bratcher; a sister, Grace R. Nelson; daughter-in-law, Angela Holbert Dorn; sister-in-law, Patrice K. Rosenberg; the father of her children, Herby Barber and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be 2:00PM Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in Warrenton Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 191 Watts Rd. Abbeville, SC. The family will greet friends following the service.

Those serving as pallbearers will be, Clyde Gordon, Jeff Smallwood, Justin Bratcher, Drayton Wilson, Duece Cox and Grier Wilson.

The family is at the home of Grier and Lucy Wilson in Abbeville.
