Pat Wideman

Patrick O'Neal Wideman, 62, of Ninety Six, SC, died Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Self Regional Medical Center. He was born in McCormick County to the late Ralph M. and Maggie Turnage Wideman.
Pat worked in carpentry and at Parke-Davis for several years. His favorite pastime was listening to country music on the radio and cracking jokes with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Jean Lowery and Lorene Whitfield and two brothers, Ralph M. Wideman and James Leonard Wideman.
He is survived by his three daughters, Sally Morse (Steve) of Ninety Six, Kathy Reeves (Sandra) of Greenwood and Robin Morgan (Chris) of Greenwood; a sister, Elizabeth Brock of Abbeville; four brothers, Lee Wideman of Greenwood, Charlie Wideman of Abbeville, Curtis Wideman (Jane) of Saluda and Rick Wideman (Frances) of Greenwood; thirteen grandchildren, Jordan (Brandon), Joshua, Jason, Kaleigh, Aiden, David (Jessie), Darby, Irie, Gage, Shanna, Logan, Ayla and Gryphon; and five great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Pat’s life will be 2:00PM Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Calvary Chapel, 2024 Woodlawn Rd. Greenwood with the Rev. David Evans officiating. A private family burial will take place in the Wideman Family Cemetery in Troy at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials, in memory of Pat, are sent to the Faith Home Christian Recovery, PO Box 39, Greenwood, SC 29648.
