Ouida Adams "Adams" Creswell

Ouida Adams Creswell, 91, of Abbeville, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Abbeville Nursing Home. She was born in Colbert, GA to the late Leanord Lee and Luvie Lea Smith Adams.

Ms. Creswell was a graduate of Madison County Schools and a member of Gordon’s Chapel Methodist Church in Hull, GA. She was a dedicated employee of the Textile Industry for over 50 years. Hours spent gardening were pleasant; time spent with her children brought her happiness and contentment. Ms. Creswell lovingly cared for animals.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, Alvin, Carlton, Russell, Dennis and Orin Adams and four sisters, Allene Perry, Sylven Pittman, Nellie May Price and Olene Benton.

Ms. Creswell is survived by her children; Barry Creswell (Cheryl) of Abbeville, Steve Creswell (Erna) Windsor, SC; Vickie Jean Roller (Ronnie) of Abbeville and Renee Creswell (Diana) of Shaokpee, Minn.; ten grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 3:00PM Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Harris Funeral Home. The family will hold a private service to celebrate the life of Ms. Creswell.

The family is at the home of Ronnie and Vickie Roller in Abbeville.
