Nelle McMahan

Nelle McGill McMahan, 101, wife of the late Jack McMahan of Belton died at NHC Anderson Monday July 27, 2026.

She was born in Anderson County and was the daughter of the late James and Nellie McClellan McGill. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church. She was the oldest member at Eastview and a member of Eastview’s widow group.

She is survived by her sons, Terry McMahan (Carolyn), David McMahan (Linda Tiller); Kristan Mitchell (Brian) a granddaughter raised in the home; grandchildren, Jason McMahan (Crissa), Rhonda McMahan, Amber Price (Stewart) and Brandon Shirley; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a special friend Hilda Tollison.

She was preceded by a son Buddy McMahan, and a daughter Jackie Davis; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday July 30, 2026, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Blank officiating. Burial will follow service at Belton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to service on Thursday at Cox Funeral Home from 9:45 AM until 10:45 AM.

The family will be at their respective homes.
