Nancy D. Timms (Brown)

Nancy Dianne Timms, 74, of Calhoun Falls, wife of the late Harold Terry Timms, passed away peacefully with her two sons by her side on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the Hospice House in Greenwood. She was born in Abbeville to the late Retha Arizona Addison and Thomas ‘Tom’ Brown.

A 1965 graduate of Calhoun Falls High School, Nancy owned and operated N + T, a finance company in Calhoun Falls. She was a member of The Swinging Hatters of the Falls club and the Solid Rock Community Church.

Nancy is survived by two sons, Allen Timms and Brian Timms; two brothers, Tommy Brown (Penny) and Billy Brown; two sisters, Glendal Welch and Deborah Scott (Sammy) all of Calhoun Falls; three grandchildren, Ashley Timms Tollison (Cruse), Kortney Allison (James) and Brianna Timms, all of Greenwood; three great-grandchildren, Cruze, Jett and August; and several nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

The family will receive friends 2:00PM – 3:00PM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in Harris Funeral Home, Calhoun Falls Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
