Mitchell Bearden

Mitchell Bearden, 77, resident of 701 Brooks St. passed away Nov. 30, 2016 at Hospice Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Elberton, Georgia May 12, 1939 he was a son of the later J.C. and Allie Mae Brown Bearden.

He was a retired Loom Fixer in the Textile Industry and was of the Baptist faith. He will be missed by his loving family and his many friends.

Survivors include: two daughters Juanita Smith of Honea Path, SC and Mildred Mobley of Iva, SC; two sons Paul Bearden and Jonathan Bearden both of Calhoun Falls; three brothers Joe, Gene and Luther Bearden all of Elberton, Georgia; eleven grandchildren.

Services were held at an earlier date.

Memorials in memory of Mitchell may be made to a charity of one's choice.
