Mary Page Harrison, 79, of Abbeville, beloved wife of the late George Wayne Harrison, died Monday, June 29, 2026. She was born in Abbeville on September 2, 1946, to the late Dan and Alberta Simpson Page.
A 1965 graduate of Abbeville High School, Mary was employed in the textile industry. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the lights of her life. Mary also enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers. She was known by her unwavering kindness and her ability to bring comfort, joy, and encouragement in those around her. Mary was a member of the House of Refuge Church of God in Greenwood, SC.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Christopher George Harrison and Michael Wayne Harrison; and her father and mother-in-law, Rev. George W. and Verbielee Argo Harrison.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Angie Henderson (Jack); two brothers, Franklin Page and Ronnie Page (Patsy); sister, Elaine Crabb (Earl), all of Abbeville; eight grandchildren, Nikki (Todd), Tyler, Andrew, Erica (Kevin), Paige, Angel, Lizzie (Chase), and Christopher; eight great-grandchildren, Kyla, Ella, Colt, Mabree, Millie, Violet, Daisy, Willow; and two daughters-in-law, Fran Bryan and Danielle Taylor (Jason).
The family will receive friends 11:00AM to 12:00PM, Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home, 302 N. Main Street, Abbeville, SC. Funeral services will begin at 12:30PM in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Scott Sherfield officiating. A private interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions, in memory of Mary, may be sent to the House of Refuge Church of God, PO Box 26, Abbeville, SC 29620.
The family is at the home of Elaine and Earl Crabb in Abbeville, SC.
