Marshall McConnell Winn

Marshall McConnell Winn, 42, resident of 80 Winn Rd., Donalds, SC, died Nov. 24, 2002 at Abbeville Co. Memorial Hospital.

Born in Greenwood Co., SC he was a son of the late Robert C. and Dorris Gaddis Winn.

He was a 1983 graduate of Erskine College and was the Chief of Inspections for Anderson County Building and Codes. He was also a member of International Code Council Certified Building Officials. He was a certified S.C. State Fire Marshall. He was also a member of Greenville Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are; one sister, Ann Leigher and brother-in-law Barry of Pelzer, SC; two nephews, Michael and Brad Leigher of Pelzer, SC.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002 at 4:00 PM from Greenville Presbyterian Church. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 3:00 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Merwyn Johnson.

The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home, Abbeville, SC where the family will receive friends from 6:30 til 8:30 PM Monday evening.
