Louis L. "Buddy" Willard

Louis L. “Buddy” Willard, 51, of Waterloo, SC, died Thursday, September 6, 2018 at his home. He was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Louis L. Smith, Jr. and Linda Faye Campbell.

Buddy loved the thrill of NASCAR and was especially fond of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Many happy times were spent watching football and cheering on the Clemson Tigers, Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers with a cold one in hand.

Buddy is survived by his significant other, Tammy Poole, of the home; a son, Troy Willard (Kaysey), of Waterloo; a daughter, Ashlee Willard, of Texas; a brother, Ronald Willard, of Arkansas; four grandchildren, Bolt Laughlin, Dixiemay Laughlin, Ayden Willard and Tristen Willard; step-children, Blake Elston, Nicole Borders-Miller, Ema Browder and her son, Cameron, and Brandon Long; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 4:00PM, Monday, September 10, 2018 in Reedy Grove Church, 6608 Riverfork Road, Waterloo, SC 29384 with Pastor Tommy Wooten officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Troy and Kaysey Willard, 8696 Riverfork Road, Waterloo.
