Linda "English" Rhoden

Linda English Rhoden, 78, wife of the late Roy L. Rhoden, of Abbeville, died Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Hospice House in Greenwood. She was born in Shady Grove, FL to the late Woodrow A. and Maude Grover English. Mrs. Rhoden was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Spencer English and David English; a sister, Pat Ferguson; two grandsons, Austin Rhoden and Joshua Caleb Rhoden; and a great-grandson, Colson Esco.

Mrs. Rhoden is survived by sons, David Roberts (Shirley) of Greenwood, Robert Lee Rhoden (Dee) of Belton, Richard Rhoden of Charleston and Wendell Thomas of Abbeville; a daughter, Rhonda Rhoden Saxon of Abbeville; ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 2:00PM – 3:00PM, Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home, Abbeville Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 3:00PM in Melrose Cemetery with Rev. Derrick Rash officiating.
