Leonard "Len" Ray Farmer

Leonard "Len" Ray Farmer, 67, resident of 110 Calhoun St. passed away Tuesday July 19, 2016 at AnMed Hospital in Anderson, SC.
Born on Abbeville, SC, he was a son of the late Jack Doyle Farmer and Mary Carolyn Bray Farmer.

Len was a graduate of Anderson College and Western Carolina University having earned his Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. He was a retired newspaper journalist having written editorials for a number of different publications. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his brother Travis Farmer (Patsy) of Seneca, SC; a nephew Sean Farmer (Anna) of Seneca, SC and a niece Leslie Farmer of Simpsonville, SC.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday July 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Long Cane Cemetery with the Rev. Phil Kelly officiating.
