Larry Lange

Larry E. Lange, 79, of Abbeville, husband of Ramona Weaver Lange, died Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center in Anderson, SC. He was born in Abbeville to the late Earl F. Lange and Mary Emily Blanchett Lange.

A proud 1964 graduate of Calhoun Falls High School, Larry furthered his education at Anderson College, graduating in 1966. He served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Larry was the owner/operator of Lange Dental Lab where his meticulous work and commitment to quality made a lasting impact in the lives of many individuals.

Outside of his career, Larry cherished spending time with his family, creating lasting memories that will forever be etched in their hearts. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was camping under the stars, working diligently with his hands, cooking, or gardening. These hobbies not only brought him happiness but also allowed him to connect with his loved ones in meaningful ways. Larry worshipped at South Side Baptist Church.

Larry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ramona; sister, Cathy Jacks (Rev. Steve Jacks); two daughters, Deena Simmons (Jeff) and Emily Broome (Mark); eight grandchildren, Devan Rogers (Wade), Rev. Corbin Herron (Anna), Taylor Wardle (Jack), Kayla Martin (Garner), Kyle Simmons, Brayton Broome, Jayce Broome and Slade Broome; four great-grandchildren, Macie, Ally, Griffin and Ollie; and many extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends 1:30PM – 2:30PM, Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home, 302 N. Main Street, Abbeville, SC, 29620. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM on Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Corbin Herron officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
