Juan Santiago

Juan Garcia Santiago, 52, of Greenwood, husband of Victoria Rodriguez, died Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood. He was born in Papantla Veracruz, Mexico to Manuela Santiago and the late Antonio Garcia.

Juan was employed with General Construction in Abbeville for 15 years. A member of Iglesia Cristiana Pentecostes in Greenwood, he enjoyed worshiping through playing the piano and singing. Known for his good-humored personality, Juan loved children, especially his two grandchildren, and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria; his mother, Manuela; his children, Juan Antonio Garcia Santiago and Luis Xavier Garcia Santiago; siblings, Pedro Garcia Santiago, Victoria Garcia Santiago, Pablo Garcia Santiago, and Aurelio Garcia Santiago; two grandchildren; many extended family members and friends; and his beloved dog and loyal companion, Oso.

The family will receive friends 4:00PM – 5:30PM, Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Harris Funeral Home, Abbeville Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 6:00PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ivan Celedon officiating.
