Joshua "Josh" McCurry

Joshua "Josh" McCurry, 22, of S.C. 413, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002.

Born in Anderson, he worked in construction as a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are son, Hayden McCurry of Anderson; parents, Don and Susan Dickerson McCurry of the home; brother, Scott McCurry of the home; paternal grandmother, Novella Busby McCurry of Abbeville; and maternal grandparents, T.C. and Irene Dickerson of Starr.

Graveside services are at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Abbeville. The body is at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The family will be at the home of his grandmother, Novella McCurry, 507 Maple St., Abbeville, and at the home of T.C. Dickerson.
