Joseph E. 'Joey' Ferguson

Joeseph E. 'Joey' Ferguson, 48, of Abbeville, SC, died Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Self Regional Healthcare. He was born on June 13, 1978, in Anderson, SC to the late Albert 'Pat' and Martha Rogers Ferguson.

Joey was a 1997 graduate of Dixie High School. After graduating, he worked in the textile industry, and most recently for LaFrance Fabrics. A few of his favorite activities were being outdoors, ATV riding, and decorating for the holidays. Joey adored his family, and found companionship with his beloved dog Blue. He was of the Presbyterian faith.

Joey is survived by his son, Hayden Ferguson of Loris, SC; two brothers, Daniel Ferguson (Jenny) and James Ferguson both of Abbeville, SC; many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Joey’s life will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Little Mountain Presbyterian Church.
