Jessica Chrisley Scott

Jessica Chrisley Scott, 44, of Abbeville, wife of Brandon Scott, passed away on Saturday, May 18,2024, at Abbeville Area Medical Center. She was born in Abbeville, South Carolina to the late Dennis Kimsey and Lititia Chrisley. Jessica was lovingly reared in the home of the late Roger and Kathryn Chrisley.

A graduate of Calhoun Falls High School, class of 1996, Jessica dedicated herself to public service and began her career with Abbeville County in 2006 at the Treasurer's Office. She held the position of Abbeville County Auditor at the time of her passing.

In addition to her parents and grandparents, Jessica was preceded in death by a brother JD, and sister Mandy. 

She is survived by her devoted husband of 25 years, Brandon; their two children, Miranda Faith Scott and Brady Edward Scott; siblings Cassy, Sarah, Rebecca, Eloisa, Victoria, and Alex; two aunts Donna Hozey and Robin Moreno; her sister-in-law Laura Scott; as well as her cherished bulldog Tucker. Known for her maternal nature towards all who crossed her path, Jessica provided unwavering support to her children and their friends when in need. A meaningful song lyric to Jessica was "Starting now to find some peace and set myself free. Today I don’t have to fall apart. I don’t have to be afraid."

The family will greet family and friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 15 Moffatt St., Due West, SC. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Jessica, may be directed to the Humane Society of Abbeville County at PO Box 256, Abbeville, SC 29620.
