Jason Thomas Stroud

Jason Thomas Stroud, 54, of Abbeville, died Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at his home. He was born in San Antonio, TX to the late John C. Stroud, III and Margaret Brown Stewart.

Jason was an enthusiastic fisherman. He enjoyed meeting people and his outgoing personality resulted in his never meeting a stranger.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John C. Stroud, IV and a nephew, Luke Stroud.

Jason is survived by his sister, Marie S. McMurtury (Sammy) of Abbeville; his life partner of 16 years, Marilyn Brown, of the home; nieces, Samantha Saladin (Drew), Lindsey Bowie (Jeremy) and Lauren Stroud; nephew, Justin McMurtury, all of Abbeville; many great-nieces and nephews and a step-grandson, Jonah.

Graveside services will be 11:00AM, Friday, October 22, 2021 in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Mr. Mike Hendricks officiating.
