Jan Elizabeth Boxx, 64, of Due West, SC, died Thursday, October 21, 2021, at her residence. She was born in Greenwood, SC to the late Remmie H. ‘Harold’ Boxx and Dixie Wrenn Boxx.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Jan, an accomplished artist, worked in Winder, GA, Wilmington, NC and most recently at the Antique Mall in Donalds, SC. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Greenwood, SC
In addition to her parents, Jan was preceded in death by a brother, Remmie Wayne Boxx.
She is survived by a sister, Deborah Boxx Hunsinger of Hamilton, GA; two nephews and three nieces; fifteen great-nieces and nephews; and loving, treasured friends and neighbors.
A service to celebrate Jan’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Jan may be sent to the Abbeville County Animal Shelter, 79 Old Calhoun Falls Road, Abbeville, SC 29620 or to the Arthritis Foundation, 1355 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30309.
