James Steven Porter

James "Steven" Porter, 42, of 331 Noble Drive died Monday, May 12, 2003, at his home.

Born in Abbeville County, he was formerly employed by the Edgefield Hospital as a Radiology Technician. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Surviving is his mother, Joyce Murdock Porter of the home.

He was the son of the late James C. Porter.

Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with the Rev. Darin Hook officiating. The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon following graveside services at the cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 100 E. Greenwood St., Abbeville, S.C., 29620.
