Ina Randall Taylor, 94, of Abbeville, wife of the late Rev. James D. Taylor, passed away on March 15, 2026, at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood. She was born in Rutherfordton, NC to the late Doctor Anders and Mamie Randall.
As the beloved wife of the late Rev. J. D. Taylor, who faithfully pastored the Abbeville Congregational Holiness Church for 29 years, Ina stood steadfast by his side, offering strength and comfort to their congregation and community. Her role as a pastor's wife was more than a title; it was a calling she embraced with a compassionate heart and gentle spirit. She was a member of the Abbeville Congregational Holiness Church.
Ina found joy in simple and meaningful hobbies. She was an avid gardener, growing both vegetables and flowers that brought color and life to her surroundings. Known for her skillful quilting and crocheting, Ina crafted beautiful works that reflected her patience and creativity. Her baking and cooking were acts of love that nourished both body and soul, often creating warm memories for her family and friends. She lived a life marked by steadfast dedication to her family, her faith and her community taking great pride in serving others.
In addition to her parents and her beloved husband of 49 years, Rev. Taylor, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Alfred L. Randall (Lib), David K. Randall (Adelita) and Bremen B. Randall.
Ina is survived by her daughter, Omegia Taylor Ray and her husband, Jerry; granddaughter, Mandy Ray Arrowood and her husband, Dustin, all of Abbeville; great-granddaughter, Marissa Taylor Arrowood Gossett and her husband, Andrew, of Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5:00PM – 7:00PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home, 302 N. Main Street, Abbeville, SC. Funeral services will be 3:00PM, Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Abbeville Congregational Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
The family is at the home of her granddaughter and her husband, Mandy and Dustin Arrowood of Abbeville.
