Holly Brown Wilson

Holly Brown Wilson, 68, of Abbeville, died Saturday, January 27, 2024, at her residence. She was born in San Diego, CA to the late James Perry and Margaret Baker Brown. 

Holly was a graduate of McCormick High School. She was widely known as an associate at the Sky City store in Abbeville until its closing.  Holly was a special lady who always brought a smile to those around her.   Her unwavering dedication and positive spirit touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.   She was of the Baptist faith.

Holly is survived by her daughter Shonda W. Dowis of the home; brother, James ‘Jim’ P. Brown, II (Mona) of Plum Branch; two sisters, Joyce Reed of Arizona and Lyndia Duprecee of Myrtle Beach; two grandchildren, Gracie and Drake Dowis; a great-granddaughter, Brynn and many nieces and nephews. 

The family extends their sincere appreciation for the kindness, care and compassion shown Holly from HomeBridge Hospice, Dr. Scott, Kayla, Elaine, Karen, Hospice Buddies, Chaplain Josh, and a very dear friend, Billie New.
