Heather Lynn Pruitt

Heather Lynn Pruitt, 43, of Honea Path, died Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood. She was born in Anderson to Erline McLawhorn Pruitt and the late Larry Thomas Pruitt.

Heather was a proud graduate of Belton-Honea Path High School in 2001 and furthered her education at Lander University, graduating in 2011. She was presently employed as a payroll clerk at the Burton Center, where she has served with a steadfast commitment for ten years. Heather found joy in the quiet pursuits of reading and cross stitching. These hobbies provided her with moments of peace and fulfillment. She worshipped at the Honea Path Church of God of Prophecy.

Heather is survived by her mother, Erline, of the home; sister, Sheila Davis (Mike) of Honea Path; and her sister and brother-in-law’s dog, Buster, who brought her much happiness and contentment.

The family will receive friends 1:30PM – 2:45PM, Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Jones Chapel Church of God of Prophecy, 2433 Jones Chapel Road, Belton, SC 29627. A service to celebrate Heather’s life will begin at 3:00PM in the church sanctuary with Rev. Keith Crocker officiating.
