Harold Edward Mundy

Harold Edward Mundy, 83, passed away Thursday Jan. 15, 2015 at The McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, SC.

Born in Abbeville, SC Oct. 13, 1931 he was a son of the late William Thomas Mundy, Sr. and Margaret McNeill Mundy.

Harold was a United States Army veteran. He was a 1953 graduate of Clemson College with a BS Degree in Textiles. Harold was also a member of Main St. United Methodist Church. He was a retired textile supervisor having worked with J.P. Stevens. His loving family and his many friends will miss him.

Survivors include a brother, Thomas Mundy, Jr. (Mildred) of Greer, SC; a niece, Anne Frye (Warner) of Palm Bay, FL; and great-nephews, Warner, Carter and Cameron Frye.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday Jan. 19, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Chandler Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Taylor officiating. The burial will follow in Sharon United Methodist Church Cemetery with Military Rites.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Monday afternoon at the funeral home prior to services.
