Glenn Lafeyette Bowie

Glenn Lafeyette Bowie, 92, of Due West Retirement Center, widower of Gussie Lassen Bowie, died Monday, June 23, 2003 at Carlisle Nursing Center.
Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Calvin Eugene and Lucille Sharpe Bowie. He was a retired meteorologist, a former member of Due West Lions Club and a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha B. Foster of Charleston, W.Va.; a sister, Martha B. Whaley of Abbeville; a brother, Newell Bowie of Due West; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Main Street United Methodist Church, Abbeville, conducted by the Rev. Bob Clemons. Burial is in Gilgal United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 10-11 Saturday in The Greene Center at the church.
