Gerald "Jerry" Simpson Campbell

Gerald 'Jerry' Simpson Campbell, 77, resident of 463 Firetower Rd. Husband of Helen Loftis Campbell died Thursday March 24, 2005 at Abbeville Nursing Home.

Born in Abbeville Co. C he was a son of the late Knox Alexander and Elizabeth Simpson Campbell.

He was retired from the State Forestery Commission as a Fire Tower Watchman. He attended Bells United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Helen Diane Campbell

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday March 26, 2005 at 2:00 PM from Bells United Methodist Church with the Rev.'s Fred Buchanan and Bruce Moore officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 PM Saturday afternoon in the social hall of the church prior to services.
