George Robert Napier

George "Robert" Napier, 49, of 93 Horton Drive, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.

Born in Abbeville County, he was a carpenter and employed with J. Ben Jones Construction Company of Abbeville. He formerly attended Union Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are widow, Rhonda Prince Napier of the home; daughters, Kortney Napier, Kinsley Napier and Sierra Napier, all of the home; son, Todd Allen of the home; brothers, Travis Napier and Nathan Napier, both of Swainsboro, N.C.; sister, Margaret Tsantakis of Cross Hill; parents, Joel "Benny" Napier and Louise Davenport Napier, both of Abbeville; and one granddaughter.

Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The family is at the home, 93 Horton Drive, Abbeville.

Memorials may be made to the Napier Girls in a trust which is being set up at The Abbeville Saving and Loan Association.
