Gale Andra Pults

Gale Andra Pults passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, at the age of 77, with her husband by her side in Greenwood, South Carolina.

Gale was born on September 29, 1948, in Henderson County, North Carolina to Andy and Bertha Hansen. She lived her life in Florida where she met and married Leon Pults in 1973. They shared an incredible 53 years of marriage, building a business together, traveling, and most importantly raising two amazing sons and eventually welcoming three grandchildren.

Gale loved cooking, shopping, traveling, chatting with friends, visiting the Carolinas, and being surrounded by her family. Gale’s life meant so much to those around her because of all the little things she did. She loved joking with her husband and keeping him on his toes, a playful back and forth that was uniquely theirs and reflected a love that ran incredibly deep. Her time with her kids meant the world to her. As her sons were growing up, she provided a home where all their friends were welcomed and appreciated. Gale was always there to do whatever was needed for her sons. As she welcomed grandchildren, she gave them an enormous amount of love and didn’t miss many opportunities to spoil them. Gale could have a silly streak, and her laughter was a sound that filled those around her with joy.

Gale is survived by her loving husband Leon; her children, Zachary and daughter-in-law, Danielle, Carl and daughter-in-law, Sara; three grandchildren, Ayden, Dawson, and Emilia; her brother, Drew Hansen; and many extended family members and dear friends.

She will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on in the family she loved so much.
