Frankie Krech Reese

Frankie Krech Reese, 86, of McCormick, SC, wife of the late Roy Reese, died on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC.

Frankie was born in Nashville, TN. She attended Tennessee Tech in Engineering and later completed her MPA at Georgia Southern University. Frankie worked and retired from the Medical College of Georgia as a computer programmer. She was an avid reader of religion and philosophy, loved nutrition and exercise.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ada Wilson Gross Krech and her brother, Bobby Krech.

Frankie is survived by her four children, Vicki Lee Fair, Sherri Ray Charek, Kristi Imogene Powers, and Randall Robert Powers; in addition to her 13 grandchildren, Russel Lee, Staci Kay, Jessica Ray, Carissa Ann, Benjamin Michael, Kallina Victoria, Stephen Barryman, Rebekah Jean, Benjamin Scott Wilson, Leslie Ann, Katey Rae, Paul Quinn and Ty Robert; and her brother, Ed Krech and his wife, Sandra, and their extended family.

A graveside service will be held 10:30AM, Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813.
