Eunice Wheeler Scott

Eunice Wheeler Scott, 73, of 208 Langley St. died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at Abbeville County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Gainesville County, she was a retired textile employee with Milliken Textiles, Abbeville Plant and was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving are widower, Jim Scott of the home; daughters, Debra Croft of Hilton Head Island and Vickie Graham of Abbeville; sons, Jimmy Scott of Clinton and Bobby Scott of Abbeville; brothers, Bobby Wheeler of Anderson and Buddy Wheeler of Sandy Springs; stepmother, Ruth Wheeler of Pendleton; 11 grandchildren and one grandson, raised in the home; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late Sam and Beulah Lee Smith Wheeler. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Lee Cooper; and a brother, Jessie Wheeler.

Graveside services are at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with the Revs. Earl Hartley and Marion Argo officiating. The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, before services.

The family is at the home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
