Eugene Richard "Gene" Hinman

Eugene R. ‘Gene’ Hinman, 73, of Abbeville, husband of Linda Morton Hinman, died Saturday, July 21, 2018 at his home. He was born in Albion, NY to the late Kenneth E. and Florence Hinman.

Gene served in the U.S. Army and was an avid motorcyclist. He was happy when traveling and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael ‘Scooter’ Hinman.

Gene is survived by his wife Linda of 8 years; three children, Esther Munden, Timothy Robert Rapp (Danielle) and Keith Munden (Darcy); three grandchildren, Orion, Luna and Micah; a sister, June Hinman; childhood friend, Bob Frost of Texas; closest companions, his dog, Jazzy and his cat, Cali.

Graveside services will be Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 10:00AM in the M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson.
