Emma Thomas Pressley

Emma Thomas Pressley, 76, of 733 Old Douglas Mill Road died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at her home.
Born in Abbeville County, she was a retired textile employee with Bloomsburg Mills and also served as a hospital volunteer with Abbeville County Memorial Hospital. She was also a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Surviving are widower, J.C. Pressley of the home; daughters, Delores McNeil of Abbeville and Patsy Southard of Moncks Corner; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Kathleen Smith Thomas.
Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Thursday from Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Abbeville, with the Revs. Darren Hook and Alan Quarles officiating.
The family is at the home.
The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, Greenwood, S.C. 29646, c/o Greenwood Medical Center.
Ramey Funeral Home of Saluda is in charge of arrangements.
