Charlie Elvin Wilson, III, 73, resident of 702 Brooks St. passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at his home.
Born in Abbeville, SC he was a son of the late Charlie Elvin Wilson, Jr. and Ellen Blanchett Wilson.
Charlie was a United States Army veteran. He also worked a number of years for Milliken Textiles as a maintenance supervisor. He was of the Holiness faith.
Survivors are: a son Charlie Elvin Wilson, IV (Laura) of Wellsburg, NY; two brothers J.T. Wilson (Carol) of Greenwood, SC and Tommy Wilson of Abbeville, SC; three grandsons Joshua, Jeffery and Adam Wilson.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Eleanor Banister and Violet Stewart.
A Celebration of Charlie’s life will be conducted Monday May 13, 2019 at The Retreat 1147 McKinley Creek Rd. Abbeville, SC from 4:30 until 6:30 PM.
The family will receive friends after the Memorial service.
Memorials in memory of Charlie may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
