Edward T. 'Bud' Webster, Jr.

Gunnery Sergeant Edward Thomas ‘Bud’ Webster, RET. U.S. Marine, 80, of McCormick, SC., husband of Ann Schneck Webster died Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at his home. He was born in Mt. Kisco, NY to the late Edward T. Webster, Sr and Mary Martin Webster.

Bud retired from the U.S. Marine Corp after serving three tours in Vietnam where he received many awards including, a Purple Heart Recipient, Combat Action Metal, and Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and owned and operated several Army Surplus Stores in North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Danny Webster.

Surviving Mr. Webster are his wife Ann of the home; two sons, Gordon Webster, Edward T. Webster, III; two sisters, Arlene Zitzelsberger and Ruby Horton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be 11:00AM, Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Rev. Father Jacob Joseph officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Good Shepherd Columbarium with full military honors.
