Dorothy 'Dot' M. Anders

Dorothy "Dot" M. Anders, 90, of Lowndesville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at her home. She was the beloved wife of Frank Anders for 71 years and daughter of the late E. Dean and Ida Parker Spearman.

Dot dedicated many years to the textile industry and later operated a tool business with her husband at the Anderson Jockey Lot. She found joy in puzzles, gardening, and spending time outdoors. Dot attended Faith Harvest Church in Calhoun Falls.

She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Franklin Anders; her brothers, Bill and Charles Spearman; and her sisters, Ann Turpin and Maxine Blackston.

Dot is survived by her husband, Frank; daughter-in-law, Laurie Anders of Iva; grandson, Bobby and Samantha Mobley of Abbeville, SC; seven grandchildren: Zach, Chole, Jackson, Katelyn, Carlee, Weston, and Noah Mobley; a great-great-grandson, Wrenston; and brother, Jack Spearman of Piedmont, SC.

A memorial service celebrating Dot's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Faith Harvest Fellowship in Calhoun Falls, SC, officiated by Rev. Keith Timms. Family and friends are invited to gather immediately following the service.
