Dianne Quade Hilley

Dianne Quade Hilley, 73, of Abbeville, SC, died Monday, June 26, 2023, at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC.  She was born in Abbeville, SC to the late James R. and Myrtle Burdette Quade.

Dianne was a graduate of Calhoun Falls High School’s class of 1968. She worked with Abbeville Nursing Home as an activities director for several years. After achieving her Associate's degree in public service from Piedmont Technical College, she went on to devote many years of her life to the Piedmont Agency on Aging as a Congregate Meal site manager for the Abbeville area. Dianne cared deeply for her community and dedicated much of her time delivering Meals on Wheels to seniors in the area when needed. Spending time with her family brought her much joy. As a member of the South Side Baptist Church, she enjoyed being a part of both the Sunlighters senior group and All God’s Children.

In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by a niece, Laura Beth Quade.

She is survived by a son, Obie Hilley (Kasi) of Atlus, OK; daughter, Heather Lollis (Wayne) of Belton, SC; brother, Marshall Quade (Linda); niece, Lori Lindler (Tracy) all of Calhoun Falls, SC; six grandchildren, Kayla Lollis, Caleb Hilley (Taylor), Casey Ashley (Madison), Cody Lollis, Cleila Hilley, and Jesse Hilley; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 10:00AM - 11:00AM, Friday, June 30, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11:30AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Zach Little officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
