Debra Carol Garrett Huckabaa

Debra Carol Garrett Huckabaa, 73, of Roebuck, SC, formerly of Calhoun Falls, SC, passed away Monday, August 31, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was born in Calhoun Falls to the late William Frank and Lois Mary Smith Garrett.

Debra will be remembered for the care and devotion she gave in her role as a homemaker, a calling that reflected her commitment to home and family. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Roebuck, SC

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Heidi Naomi Land and Erika Land; and a great-grandson, Connor Brown.

Debra is survived by her son, Henry Land, Jr. (Jamie) of Iva, SC; two brothers, Lee Garrett (Donna) of Calhoun Falls, SC and Joey A. ‘Butch’ Garrett of Roebuck, SC; nine grandchildren, Krystal Brown, Amanda Holley, DJ(Debra) Black, Tracy Black, Kaylee Black, Kira Williams, Henry Land III, Heidi Land, and Jesse Land and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Debra’s life will be held at Canaan Baptist Church, 701 Canaan Road, Spartanburg, SC on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Dale Revels will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be sent to Canaan Baptist Church.
